Eastern Grey Kangaroos have thick, fluffy fur, ranging from light grey to grey-brown. They grow up to seven feet tall, with long, powerful tails that they use for balance. Kangaroos are most active in the evening and at dawn, but can be seen resting in the shade or tall grass during the day.

Red Kangaroos are semi-nomadic and can be found across most areas of central Australia, especially in shady spots on open plains. They feed on grasses and other small plants. Red Kangaroos breed all year round. When the joey is eight months old, it finally ventures out of the pouch.

These furry marsupials, a sub-species of the Western Grey Kangaroo, are native to Kangaroo Island in South Australia. A social species, they are relaxed, friendly and curious. They live in mobs with a dominant male as leader and feast on hay, mixed grains, carrots, and bark on leafy branches.

Emus are native to Australia and are found across most of the country. They can't fly, but they can run as fast as 40-50km an hour. Emus enjoy eating plants and occasionally insects. Male emus are dedicated parents, preparing nests for their chicks and caring for them after hatching.
