Feast, snooze and explore the Zoo after dark during this unique overnight Roar 'n' Snore camping experience.
Dine with friends and family, explore the Zoo after dark, and listen to wild animal stories from your hosts before settling into your private tent for a night amongst the wildlife.
Wake in the morning to the call of siamang gibbon and native bird songs. Enjoy some delicious breakfast before heading off for an exclusive AM guided tour.
You're then free to spend the day exploring the rest of the Zoo!
You can also join your hosts and learn about Melbourne Zoos’ incredible 160-year journey from Zoo to a world leading conservation organisation. All in the historic Elephant exhibit of Melbourne Zoo.
Melbourne Zoo provides:
- Tents and camping mattresses
- Dinner, supper, and breakfast
- Admission to the Zoo the following day

Cancellation and rescheduling policy
Roar ‘n’ Snore is an all-weather program. However, we may cancel camps due to unsafe weather conditions, or insufficient bookings. Whenever possible, you will be notified in advance and rebooked for another day, or payment will be refunded. It is always regrettable when a guest needs to cancel their Roar ‘n’ Snore. To cancel your booking, please call us on 1300 966 784.
If you need to cancel your Roar ‘n’ Snore for any reason other than illness, compassionate grounds or other extreme circumstances, the following cancellation terms apply:
For cancellations notified:
- Reschedule or refund available for cancellations made seven days or more prior to event date
- No reschedule or refund available for cancellations made less than seven days prior to the event date
